✨ April at LEADERland: Inspiring Hope, Leadership & Growth! 🌟

April was a meaningful month filled with leadership, creativity, compassion, and exciting learning experiences for our LEADERs!

🎈 Inspired by Leadership, Driven by Hope – Fly Hope, Sing Love
In celebration of World Leadership Day, our LEADERs proudly created colourful “I am a LEADER” flags and participated in an award ceremony recognising qualities such as responsibility, proactiveness, servant leadership, learning spirit, and transformation.

We also launched our “Fly Hope, Sing Love” initiative in collaboration with Malaysia Children Hospice (MCH), aiming to inspire hope and support children in hospice care through a special musical concert performed by autistic children. LEADERs even created their own kite-themed sandwiches, symbolising hope taking flight. 🪁💛

🐣 Celebrating Our First Easter at LEADERland
For the very first time, LEADERland celebrated Easter with joyful activities that taught our LEADERs about love, hope, and new beginnings. From egg decorating to exciting egg hunts, the celebration encouraged creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

🏃‍♂️ Physical Awareness Activity 2026 – Our LEADERs in Motion
From 6–9 April 2026, our LEADERs took part in exciting physical challenges including shuttle runs, planks, jumping activities, and more! Through fun and healthy competition, they developed confidence, coordination, strength, and teamwork while enjoying the spirit of movement and growth together.

🎤 EP1 & EP2 Public Speaking – Speak Up & Shine
Our young LEADERs confidently stepped onto the stage during the Public Speaking Competition, showcasing creativity, courage, and communication skills. From expressive storytelling to creative costumes and fun sound effects, every child shined in their own unique way!

🎨 Art Exploration Excursion
EE2, EP1 & EP2 LEADERs recently visited the Lin Xiang Xiong Art Gallery, where they explored storytelling through art, emotions, and creativity. Through observation and sketching activities, they developed emotional awareness, confidence, and imagination beyond the classroom.

🏀 Basketball for Young LEADERs
LEADERland Batu Kawan proudly launched a FREE basketball training programme for children aged 4–12, helping young athletes build confidence, teamwork, discipline, and fitness through structured and enjoyable training sessions.

💡 Seeing Beyond Blind Spots – Parenting Seminar
Parents and educators also gained valuable insights through a transformative parenting seminar by education professional 李崇建老师. The session highlighted the importance of deep dialogue, emotional support, curiosity, and building meaningful connections with children through supportive communication.
